Update on the State of Oat Transportation

We are pleased to report that Canadian Grain Commission figures show that oat exports are above the last 2 years and are slightly above the 5 year average. "While we hope for a return to pre-2013 levels of movement, it is encouraging to see stability through this early portion of the crop year," says Art Enns, President of the Prairie Oat Growers Association. "Oat growers need access to markets if we want Canada to continue its leadership role as the biggest exporter of oats."

The countdown to CropSphere 2016 is on! The 2016 CropSphere conference will take place January 12 & 13, 2016, at TCU Place in Saskatoon, and will once again be brought to you by host groups SaskOats, SaskBarley, SaskCanola, SaskFlax, Saskatchewan Pulse Growers and Sask Wheat.
