1 litre of water
150 grams of oatmeal or 1 ½ cups
Pinch of salt
Vanilla extract (optional)
Put the oats in a bowl and cover with sufficient water. Let them soak overnight. The next day drain the water and put the oats in the blender with the litre of new water. Add the pinch of salt and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract if desired. Blend for 2 minutes. Using a fine mesh strainer, remove the remaining solids. Milk must be refrigerated and consumed within 3 days.
